Updates

First my meagre progress on In The Post from last weekend.

I've already done far more this weekend thankfully :)

And my just as bad progress on Sunflower panel for the week :(

Bowling season has fully kicked in now so I'm down 3 nights stitching time a week and it'll take me a few weeks to settle down to the routine again as it does every year

Recent beading finishes

First is the Tetris box from Julia Pretl  I do love making these boxes and have more planned in the future

Next is a Rivoli pendant that I followed a tutorial on you tube for.

I can see more of these in my future as well 

And lastly Rachel necklace from Spellbound.

Quick update

Last weeks progress on the Sunflower panel I'm just about half way now and loving it.

Progress on beading PHDs

In the last month or so I've worked on both my large, long term beading projects

First is my beaded CdC aka my mad idea :)  the last time I can find a post about it is here way back in  Nov 2014!!   I'm a few rows short of hitting the half way point now

And my Dragon Robe.  The last post I can find about it is here but I know I've worked on it since July 2014!!

It doesn't show in the pick but I've changed the way I hold while I work on it which make sit much easier to hold but it has altered the tension of it :(   It's for me and this is the back so I can live with it :)

Progress and new starts

I pulled out my Sunflower panel for some love and almost made it to the bottom I'm just a few rows short but they will soon be done :)

I've been wanting to start a new TW for a while now but knew I didn't want it to be a large one so I looked thorough the folder to see which magazine designs I had already made working copies of and Pennsylvanian Dutch Heart won.

This is as far as I got before I'd had enough of the confetti 1/4 and 1/2 stitches

Fella recently took me to Llandudno for a few days and of course I took stitching with me :)  I made a start on the tomato's to go with the peas and carrots I stitched a few years ago.

Gifted Gorgeousness

Gifted Gorgeousness is hosted by the lovely Jo over at Serendipitous Stitching and the idea is to use all those charts/ kits/ threads/ etc that have been gifted to us over the years instead of leaving them sitting in our stash.

I only have one project right now that counts and it's my weekend project, the kit was gifted to me Christmas 2014 by my fella and was my Jan 1st start 2015 but models came along and it got left :(

It's growing nicely now and I've reached the bottom who knows by next month's post I may have the bottom half almost complete

Beaded pen

A bowling friend had a birthday this week and because I've known her longer than she's known her hubby of 25 years I decided to make her something took me a while to decide what it would be and in the end I settled on a pen.   I picked my pattern and colours and made a start and hated it so started over on a new pattern.

This one wasn't without it's troubles!  I took it along to my weekly beading group only to realise on the way there I'd left the pattern at home :(  but that was OK I'd done enough of it to be able to copy it.   Once I got there tho I discovered I'd left one of the colours behind, the one in the centre of the flowers and not only did no one have it with them but the shop had none either!  So I spent a good chunk of the time looking for a new one and in the end I'm actually happier with it :)

I also managed to forget my thread , really wasn't my day.

She loved it and told me this evening that her hubby is fascinated by it so it was worth the hassle in the end :)

Progress

Alchemical Romance had some attention this week once I'd finished my Seasonal SAL project (which I need to finish finish before I share it) 

And last weekend I reached the bottom of In The Post

TUSAL time

Yes folks it's time post piccies of rubbish more :) aka Totally Useless Stitch A Long

I've added orts from In The Post, Mini Daffodils, Seasonal SAL, Dutch Heart and lots of bits of sewing thread from hexies

And various beading projects have added to my beading orts

March progress and April Goals

For March I said
Finish the fruit   Finished, sent back and been paid :)
Finish 4 Wishes  Done :)
Pick a new weekend project  Done :)
Start something new for me  Done and almost finished it (Seasonal SAL)
Make some hexie flowers and snowflakes   Done 
Sell some stash   A few charts found new homes :)

For April  I'd like to
Finish the Seasonal SAL
Start at least one new project
Get a few symbols done on Alchemical Romance
Work on a PHD
Finishing another project would be nice
Make some hexie flowers and snowflakes  (I need to get my returns list shortened!)
Sell some stash


I stitched for 100 hours and 18 minutes in March.  I had 2 new starts and 3 finishes one of which was a new start.  I stitched every day and worked on 6 projects over the month.

Current PHD total = 25
