December 23 & 24 and a finish

The last 2 gifts of the exchange  

Some fab scissors and fabric

I’ve doing a SAL with a friend and this last weekend we both finished Slightly Dotty Christmas Puddings from Bothy Threads.

I changed the fabric to 30 count murano so it’s slightly smaller than the original 

December 18 - 22

 I had a busy couple of days and didn’t get them opened daily

A lovely little kit that will go fishing with me one day next year and some mini bulldog clips that will be very useful, I had to hide them from fella or they would of vanished

Few more busy days but it means I get to open 3 at once

A couple of kits, love the cottage and will hopefully get it done next year and a bead nabber which is handy when you can’t find the one you have

December 15, 16 & 17

I have to admit that the shop it’s from starting with L is not one I go in so this will be a first for me

The boy requested reptiles and by the time I got to sign up this was the only chart I had that hadn’t already been claimed!

Another catch up post

I was busy all day on the 10th so didn’t open a gift that day so I had 2 on the 11th 

Some lovely Madeira threads and fabulous little snowman that will be part of my Christmas stitching

December 7, 8 & 9

 I’m a little behind in posting so it’s a bit of a catch up day today

I have to admit I was a little blown away with this one.   I have a velvetiser and was running a bit low on mint for it, I didn’t even realise I’d mentioned having one!

I let fella pick my gift and he felt left out so asked if he could open it as well!   I let him but had to hide these pdq or he would of scoffed the lot

A fantastic book.   I’ve actually been thinking about having a go at some embroidery next year so this was perfectly timed and means I don’t have an excuse not to try it

December 6

 Today’s gift was opened late in the day with it being Monday and my baby wrangling day.

I thought I’d ask Fella to pick one for me as he was here so he had a root round and pulled out this one

Being the big kid he is he asked if he could open it as well so I let, he was impressed with the gift as was I 

And a few more Love Quilts squares which I think will bring me up to date on them

This one was bought from Etsy 

These cars are in the  LQ files and are an ideal stash buster but the little boy they were done for loved teal 

This one is from the Disney magazine, for someone not really into Disney it was an enjoyable stitch

December 4 & 5

 I went baby wrangling yesterday so forgot to post these

And the gift, I’m going to make this my Christmas Day stitch

Before I left the house I did manage to get the last stitches in on this for a finish.

It’s the subscription box 3 design from Caterpillar Cross Stitch the only thing I changed was the fabric

And the gift, I was running low on these and have been meaning to pick some up because as you know if I  bead a Christmas ornament it has to have a jingle bell (or 3 ) on it

December 3

 First thing today is my latest finish hot off the frame, Mrs Plaid in black and white from BDL Xxxstitch

Next we have today advent gift

I’d only been thinking last night that I needed to get a diary for next year!

December 2nd

Today’s gift was decorated with a bow

And the gift was some thread organisers, something I can never have enough of

Yesterday I put all Christmas beadwork on display

It’s the first time I’ve had a dedicated display shelf so I hadn’t realised that I’d made so much over the years.   I also think there’s a few more pieces packed away with the rest of the decs!

It’s December…..

 Which means it’s time to start opening the advent exchange gifts 😁

This year mine have arrived in a beautiful box that will get reused for something 

You can’t really tell from this pic but every one has a hand drawn something on it (my partner is also an artist)

So first out the box was this one, sorry it’s a bit blurred

And the gift, yes I’ve tried one 🙂
