Triangles

I mentioned in my TUSAL post about the triangles I've been beading lately.
They are going to become tetrahedrons that I have plans for :)

Side 1

Side 2, sorry it's a little fuzzy

Sides 1 and 2 joined

The 4 designs I'm using are all free patterns from anabel

Progress

It's been a few weeks since I last shared the fruit but I did have to put it down to stitch the biscornu in my Gifted Gorgeousness post.
Most of this progress was made last week, being sick and barely having the energy to stand up at times had it's advantages.

And my weekend progress on 4 Wishes, the end is in sight and there is a tiny chance I could finish it this next weekend but I think it's far more likely to be the one after

Thank you for the well wishes over the last 10 days or so while I've been sick I'm feeling much better now but not at 100% yet and my voice is still a bit iffy hopefully in a day or two I'll be back to normal

And now a late TUSAL post

I forgot to write the dates for the TUSAL in my stitching diary at the start of the year and yesterday thought it would probably be a good idea to check them, good job I did or this post would be even later!

I've added orts from the fruit, 4 Wishes, the biscornu in yesterdays post and some sewing thread from hexie's since last month

And I've added lots of white, ivory and grey to my beading orts while I work on triangles for a project

A late Gifted Gorgeousness

Gifted Gorgeousness is organised by the lovely Jo of Serendipitous Stitching
The idea is to get those charts, threads, fabrics we've been gifted over the years used and loved or to share those projects we are giving as gifts

First is last weekends progress on 4 Wishes.
As you can see not much progress was made :(   a combination of having to frog the butterfly band so many times I lost count, having Teejay and his Mum arrive on Saturday and starting to get sick on Sunday all played their part but all progress counts.
Why is it a GG project I hear you ask ..... the chart, fabric and some of the threads were RAKed to me several years ago.

Sunday was opening day for the exchange organised at a meet up last year.
Julie sent me a dozen red roses :) there are 8 on the top and the other 4 are on the corners of the base

I went with Roses for my one as well only I changed them to yellow for friendship and Angie (no blog) tells me that yellow is her favourite colour for flowers

More 4 Wishes

Only a couple of bands and some border over the weekend.  I spent most of Saturday with a headache and wasn't up to stitching :(

In case you're wondering why there isn't a fruit progress pic for last week it's because there isn't one.  I've been working on an exchange piece all week and into this week but hopefully there will be a tiny bit of progress to share on it next week

Weekend progress

4 Wishes is coming along nicely and I've reached the halfway point so it's entirely possible I'll be finished by the end of the month :)

Beading finishes

I've been busy beading away as well working on the fruit and have a few more finishes to share.

First is Stan the Snowman.
Stan is a special guy, he has a hole in his hat with a brass ring in it because he's actually a candlestick (guess I should of taken a pic of his hat as well!)
He was a class from Oak Tree Crafts that I was due to go on but couldn't because my knee was bad :(  but Lorraine sent me the kit and I completed him over a few days early in Jan

I made another Alfie, this time to go with the ones I made into earrings last year but don't appear to have shared!  He's also an Oak Tree project, a kit you can order off the site

And lastly a brooch, hence the odd angle it's sitting at, the instructions are a free download from Spellbound and they do sell a bead pack for it as well if you want it (which I did) but the tinsel and baubles came from my stash

Yes Justine an Armish bit is the same as a Greek bit :)

January progress & February Goals

For January I said
Not start loads of projects   I started one, would of liked a couple more but the fruit has other ideas :(
Make good progress on the fruit  The top 2 pages are finished :)
Carry on with hexie flowers and snowflakes    I've done several of each
Start the lap quilt fella gave me for Christmas   No :( I blame the fruit
Sell some stash   A couple of things have left home

For February
Get the next page on the fruit at least 1/2 done
Finish 4 Wishes
Keep up with hexie flowers and snowflakes
Sell some stash

I stitched for 97 hours 43 minutes in January, had one new start and no finishes but I did stitch every day

Current PHD total = 26
