Some updates

Last week I worked on the Lake District sampler once more, I won't make my goal of half done by the end of the month but it won't be far off

Friday I added another Turtle to my SAL project with Pat

I spent the weekend looking after a friend's son and took Magical Night with me to work while I was there because I've not decided on a new weekend project and I've missed this :(
I'm going to take a week's break when I finish the Lake District before I start the next one in the hope I can finish this.

And lastly my furry companion for the weekend in one the rare moments I wasn't being head butted or pounded/ purred at for attention :) he really is a BIG softie

Gifted Gorgeousness and TUSAL

I've been a bit unsettled this week and I have no idea why so Im late with both  Gifted Gorgeousness and TUSAL :( plus I have yet to even sort out the piccies from Cosford airshow last Sunday!

Anyway on to GG.
My first offering is Elefante once again :)  I stitched this for my fella's birthday last month and he loved it.

Next is Sun Sampler which you'll recognise as my current weekend project but I'm not sure if I've mentioned that the chart was a RAK several years ago so it qualifies :)
This is my progress after last weekend, fingers crossed I'll finish it this weekend

Onto the TUSAL.
Since my last piccie of my rubbish I've added orts from Toy Gatherer, Sun Sampler, Lake District Sampler, Turtles and some bog standard sewing cotton from adding stars to my quilt.

And my beading orts (yes I'm still beading)  I've added one's from Eric, Tetris box and yet another bear, this time for my Cheshire show entry.  She does have a name (I think unless she tells me differently) but she's currently still in pieces and hasn't got a head so I'm not going to reveal it yet.

This week's stitching

Progress on Lake District sampler, a few more stitches on the right and I'll have full width :)

And a new start :)
Long time readers may remember that several years ago I used to do a Friday SAL with a friend and that she had a huge change happen in her life and it had to stop :(
Well her life has changed again and we've decided to restart the SAL :)

Our first project is Turtles All The Way Down from Ink Circles.
I'm using Dr Smith's Tonic from Sparklies, 3031 for the bodies and whatever overdyed takes my fancy.

Updates

I have another couple of paying projects to do so Magical Night is away in it's folder for the foreseeable future while I work on them.

First one I've started is Lake District Sampler from Derwent Designs, well I say I've started but it came to me with the tree bottom right and a bit of the water done so I decide to go with it

And my weekend project after the weekend :)  I knew that finishing it was a long shot and it didn't happen but if you look at my post below you can see just how much I did get done.
I'm off to Cosford air show this weekend to see the Vulcan flying so it's unlikely to be finished but depends on how much is left I may work on it Monday/Tuesday as well

Sun Sampler update

Once again I've not been posting about my weekend project even tho I mean to, I blame it all on Odd Socks!

So here it is before last weekend and gives you a much better idea of the fabric colour

And after the weekend

I'm on a stitching weekend this weekend so you never know it might come home finished, fingers crossed.
And if your wondering Odd Socks is a game on facebook and you match up socks, strange I know but it keeps me away from ONS'

May progress and June Goals

For May I said
Get the next row on the quilt half done   The stars are done but I've only added a few :(
Pick my Birthday start and start it  Done, I went with Just Nan's 4 Wishes
Stitch Fella's Birthday present.   Done and he loved it :)
Make good progress on Sun Sampler   I've done very well with it and because I'm on a stitching weekend this weekend there is a outside chance I'll finish it!!
Keep selling stash  I've found homes for several items but still have loads to go :(

For June I'd like to
Get the next row on the quilt halfway
Finish Sun Sampler
Pick a new weekend project
Get the Lake District Sampler half done (paid project, newly started)
Keep selling stash

I stitched for 55 hours 29 minutes in May, had 3 new starts and 1 finish which was one of the new starts and had a needle in my hand every day :)   The less stitching hours will continue for the next few months with bowling season in full swing now and I'm playing 3 nights a week not 2 as I have in the past

Current PHD total = 31
