Persian Buttercup

Started 8 July and finished at lunch time today
Persian Buttercup from John Clayton, part of the shades of nature collection.

I’ve got several finishes to post from the last few weeks but I keep forgetting to get them done, fing Eros crossed I remember at some point

Have to say I’m not a fan of the new interface!

Mini Poppies finished

Back in early November I posted about a new start I'd had of John Clayton's Mini Poppies.
I had hoped to get it finish during the month but I never got back to it :(
Friday night it came out to play and by Sunday bedtime it was complete

I do have the kit for the full panel as well and I'm thinking about starting it sometime in January

New start

After finishing the snowman yesterday I made a start on another kit from my stash.
It's another from Heritage crafts this time one of the mini floral 's by John Clayton and with it being November it seemed fitting.

It's growing quickly this is 2 days and around 8 1/2 hours of stitching.

As much as I'm enjoying it tomorrow it's going away for a while :( I'll be working on CdC over the weekend and back to the sampler on Monday

Snowman finish

Silly me forgot to pick up the chart for CdC when packing on Friday for the retreat but lucky for me I had plenty of other projects with me.

I started this little guy on Friday night and finished him this afternoon.
He's an oldish kit from Heritage crafts that I've had in my stash for a few years.

I switched the kit fabric to lilac ice from sparkles.

Updates

First my meagre progress on In The Post from last weekend.
I've already done far more this weekend thankfully :)

And my just as bad progress on Sunflower panel for the week :(
Bowling season has fully kicked in now so I'm down 3 nights stitching time a week and it'll take me a few weeks to settle down to the routine again as it does every year

Progress and new starts

I pulled out my Sunflower panel for some love and almost made it to the bottom I'm just a few rows short but they will soon be done :)

I've been wanting to start a new TW for a while now but knew I didn't want it to be a large one so I looked thorough the folder to see which magazine designs I had already made working copies of and Pennsylvanian Dutch Heart won.
This is as far as I got before I'd had enough of the confetti 1/4 and 1/2 stitches

Fella recently took me to Llandudno for a few days and of course I took stitching with me :)  I made a start on the tomato's to go with the peas and carrots I stitched a few years ago.

Easter themed finishes

OK so Daffodils aren't exactly an Easter 'thing' but they are abundant at this time of year and it's Easter Monday :) that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it

Heritage Crafts Simply Cross Stitch Mini Daffodils kit.

Now I just need to track down the Mini Sunflower and Poppy kits.

Next is a Simnel Cake designed by Katie Dean I bought the kit to make it when I bought her Sweet Treats book a couple of years ago and finally got round to making it this year

Late progress

Late as in they should of been posted at the start of the week and not as I start working on In The Post for the weekend again!

I'm really pleased with the amount I got done last weekend

And the mini Daffodils as it was on Monday morning, it's now finished but I've yet to take a piccie!

Progress, new start & WIP Wednesday

First is last weeks progress on the fruit

On Sunday I treated myself to a new start for Mother's Day after finishing 4 Wishes on Saturday
This is Heritage's Mini Daffodils, in a few hours of stitching time I reached both sides and the bottom so it's going to be a quick stitch, I plan on going back to it as soon as the fruit is finished

And speaking of the fruit my WIP Wednesday update pic
The orange is a little under half done now so it's possible I'll be finished in a day or so
