TUSAL Time

Yes right folks it's time to post pictures of rubbish once more and for the first time all year I'm on time!! Please don't fall off your seat in shock.

First my stitching orts and I've added ones from the family tree sampler, CdC, snowman, mini poppies and my Monday night freebie since last time

And my beading orts 

It was lovely to use black thread for a change and although you can't see it there is some apple green in there as well unfortunately I'm back to white thread

TUSAL last and first

It's that time of the month again when stitchers all over the world share a pic of their ort jar for the Totally Useless Stitch A Long (aka TUSAL)

First here's mine on Dec 31st before having it's annual bath and of course Rosie wanted in on the pic that day

This is the one that lives at DBF's and so far it's still empty this year

So onto this year and here it is.

I've added orts from Esther Sleepe, Runekeeper, The Birds and The Bees, a SOLAK square and of course some KO from beading.

This new moon I've added ort from 4 Seasons sampler, Winter Wonderland, Runekeeper, Winter Wingding, Snow and of course lots of differnt colours of KO from beading

I thought I'd share a quick pic of my bead TUSAL pot this month before I emptied it into the big one.

This time I've added orts from Caleb's Birth Sampler, Halloween Flip It's, Winter Wonderland, Namaste, 4 Seasons Sampler, Runekeeper and all those ones from the bead pot.

This time I've added ones from Beguiling tiger, Count You Blessings, Winter Wonderland, Caleb's Birth Sampler, Halloween Flip It's, Namaste, some good old fashioned sewing cotton and of course various colours of nymo etc from beading.

A rare event took place today!

Not only did Millie decide that she wanted to sit on my lap but Rosie got jealous and joined in

It's that time of the month once :)

Since the last new moon I've added orts from Winter Wonderland, Mary Wigham, Halloween flip its, Mel's Rose, 4 seasons sampler, Count your Blessing and of course loads of colours of nymo etc from beading.

Yes I know I'm a couple of days late but I do have a good reason :)

I did manage to take my pics before the madness of Thursday night/ Friday morning I just never got to post them so here they are now.

I have orts from Namaste, Mary Wigham, 4 Seasons Sampler, Halloween flip its, Winter Wingding and assorted beading threads.

I was at DBF's Wednesday night and for once remembered to take my camera with me, once again Scruffy posed with my jar :)

This one has orts in from the Peony, I love Wales, Rocking Horse, Stripy Heart and Snowman Stocking the middle 3 of which I have yet to post pics of!

This month I've added orts from Namaste, Mary Wigham, Sunflower (that I've just realised I've not posted!), Schoolgirl Lessons, Mel's Rose for her 21st, some normal sewing thread from the finishing I did and of course lots of colours of nymo/KO/C lon from beading and making lots of diamonds.

And yes I know it looks like my vase is falling over but it's not, it was nice and flat I'm the one that's wonky :)

Yes I k now I'm a little late but I was busy buying beads yesterday and then spent the evening with DD1 who here visiting for the week.

Had a lovely time in Wales last week and don't have any pics to share because we didn't really do anything worth recording although several were taken at my birthday meal.

Speaking of my Birthday I was somewhat surprised to see that only 2 people entered my giveaway!

On to the TUSAL, this time there are Orts from Mary Wigham, Normal is a Setting, CdC, Needle & Thread fob, 4 Seasons sampler, Namaste (my birthday start) and of course a pile of K O and Nymo from beading.

I spent most of the weekend at DBF's and even remembered to take a pic of my TUSAL jar there.

All that's been added to it is alot of pink from the Peony I'm working on when I'm there.

Since I had my camera with me for the TUSAL I thought I'd take a quick pic of said Peony

And not being home much meant that Mary didn't get much attention this week but she did a little bit of love

I'm a day late posting because I hadn't realised it posting time plus I wasn't at home last night to have my memory jogged by reading blogs, oh well never mind I'm here now.

Bit of an allsorts post

I've not had internet since Friday until today so this is going to be a bit of catch up post

First up is the TUSAL jar at DBF's modelled by the very lovely Scruffy who always keeps my lap warm when I'm there

Since I remembered to take my camera for the TUSAL pic I thought I'd take one of my current project, Peony in close up

I went to one of my beading groups last week and we had a quick demo on how to make a box, sorry for the glare

I've finished 2 bracelets.  The top one is a Russian Spiral (I learnt this stitch years ago as netted rope and didn't realise it was the same one till I started!) the bottom one is a Chevron bracelet 

I've made some decent progress on my beaded CdC

And of course on Scary Book

I'm pretty sure I've forgotten something so I'll come back when I remember

This time orts have been added from Needle & Thread, Scary Book, The Castle, Christmas Peace ornie, Biscornu for an exchange, Teddy Birthday card, 4 Season's Sampler and of course some Nymo and fireline from beading projects.

Once again I have forgotten to get a pick of my jar at DBF's, one of these days I'll remember.

First off here's my TUSAL jar on 31 Dec before it got emptied and washed.

And here it is this morning.

Since Jan 1st I've added orts from 4 Seasons Sampler, Chrissie The Cross Stitcher, Red Dragon, Carousel Horse Card, Scary Book, Normal is a setting, The Castle and the current UFO RR

All last year I had a little bag at DBF's for my ORT's there and would bring them home every few visits to empty it.

This year I've left a jar there them but unfortunately I've not been down for a few days so I don't have a pic of that one yet but I'll post it when I have.
