I was planning to show you the completed ornament from yesterday's post but they all turned out fuzzy inc the one of Rosie checking all was OK with it!

Today I thought I's share some of my favourite pics of Rosie.

I love this one of her and it's so typical of her.

 I was trying to take her pic when she decided to check the camera out and I clicked just to see what I'd get, this was the result

As a kitten she slept like this all the time these days tummy is a rare treat off her and mostly happens when I've been out all day

Poorly Rosie

Over the weekend Rosie wasn't well so I took to the vets on Tuesday who diagnosed Pyometra

Yesterday she went back for her op and she's doing well now, much more her normal self this evening and wanting lots of cuddles which makes doing any sort of craft difficult but that's fine with me.

This was a few minutes after we got home when she was still a bit grumpy but the bandage needed to come off

Her first experience of the cone last night when I went to bed, she only has to wear when I can't keep an eye on her to stop her taking the stitches out

It's a little hard to stitch.....

A few days ago I was catching up on some of the older things on the sky box and Rosie was glued to Cat Watch 2014, makes a change to Columbo which is a favourite of hers

It's been a while since I posted pics of Rosie but I've still been taking them so here are a few from the last month or so.

The Birds and the Bees

I've gone back to alternate weeks on projects now that Lewis is done and I've started the projects I wanted to in January.

One week I'll work on a focus project the next whatever calls loudest esp. from the new starts.

I started this last week and have gone with The Birds and the Bees as my focus project.

I was hoping to finish the bees off in that area but with being at my Daughters for a couple of days to look after Teejay while she had an op meant it wasn't to be but Teejay and I had a fun day while the op took place.

This evening I watched the pairs figure skating and Rosie was quite taken with the Italian pair, they were the only ones she watched

Rosie's new favourite place to lie is in the top of the radiator.

She started last week when I had a few bits of washing drying there so I put an old towel that was destined for the rag bag there for her to lie on

I bought myself a shopping trolley this week to make life a little easier and of course as soon as I got home with it Rosie had to get right in and inspect it.

I of course in turn had to grab my camera and take a photo of her doing her inspection

She's taken over a box that was emptied over the weekend, I haven't had the heart to take it off her yet

Recently she's taken to watching the TV!

She rarely watch's the wildlife but just to prove me wrong here she is watching the private life of plants on Sunday which happened to have bugs in it.

She does like a good murder mystery like Midsommer Murders but she seems esp. fond of Columbo!

And lastly while going through my camera to see what's still on it I found another one of her when she had a duvet day earlier this year

More box projects

This is the last of the box projects that I was asked to do a few months back.

I finished them all weeks ago but forgot to post them at the time so here they are now.

This Holly is as far as I know going to her niece for Christmas and so I used 'girlie' colours from the box to do her scarf, this time in pink and green rather than red and blue.

This afternoon I went in the back bedroom to look for something in my stash and found Rosie having a duvet day

Rosie turns 3 today and I thought I'd share a video of her with you.

Fella smokes and one brand in particular makes her act like she's had a dose of catnip!

I've never added a video before so fingers crossed it's worked

TUSAL time

It's time to share my orts again :)

This time I've added ones from Beguiling tiger, Count You Blessings, Winter Wonderland, Caleb's Birth Sampler, Halloween Flip It's, Namaste, some good old fashioned sewing cotton and of course various colours of nymo etc from beading.

A rare event took place today!

Not only did Millie decide that she wanted to sit on my lap but Rosie got jealous and joined in

Some finishing (mostly)

First of all last weekend's progress on MW.

Yesterday I finally got around to unpacking the little sewing machine DBF gave me for Christmas and use it.  I've had the fabrics picked out for weeks but every time I've thought I'll do those tomorrow something happened or I just plain forgot I was going to do them and it was to late in the day when I remembered!

I'm posting them in the order they were stitched not the order I finished them and as ever the fabric behind is the one I used for the finishing.

First up is Christmas Peace from JCS ornie issue 2002 (didn't note the designer and I'm far to lazy to go and dig the issue out to look it up) stitched way back in January!

I used a scrap of fabric out of the box that I suspect is Cashel and the called Weeks & GAST apart from subbing Cyress for Cadet.

Next is Heartfelt Harvey from 2008 JCS ornie issue, designed by Imaginating INC.

He's on a scrap of 32 count and I used DMC 304.

He turned out larger than I thought he would so I made him into a little pillow so could get away with a large pattern fabric.  See the sleigh, santa and snowman on the left? Well that's what's on the back.

Next is Happy Day freebie from sub rosa and was the April challenge on Needlecraft Haven

Lastly is the fob from LHN Needle and Thread.

Again I thought it was a little to big for a fob so I made it into a little ornie that I can hang on my stand with other bits and pieces of craft.

I really should of known that an empty box would soon be filled with a Rosie!
