Evening everyone just a quick post to share a recent finish.
This is Carrige House Samplings Quaker Alphabet stitched on Lakeside Linen's Patina using good old DMC.
Still no news on getting my puter fixed but hopefully tomorrow I'll know more when I see a freind that knows as he put it a computer geek who may be able to save my data for me before I get the hard drive replaced.
One advantage of not being online much is all the extra stitching time I'm getting in, something like 3 hours a day so I'm making great progress on my projects although I can't share the main one right now as it's an exchange project. But if I'm not back with a stitching update in the next few days I will be back with one in a week when I go on the annual weekend with a bunch of stitching friends

Your Quaker Alphabet is gorgeous. Can't wait to see it framed. I know what you mean with the 3hours to stitch. lol
What a beautiful sampler -- I love it! And I know what you mean, I get so much more done when I don't surf the blogs but the inspiration I find is priceless --
What a pretty finish! I know what you mean about having more time when there isn't a computer about.
Lindsay,
Your Quaker sampler is just stunning. I love the colors. Are you going to be framing it soon?
How do you keep your stitches so clean and neat? Your work is just beautiful and I love reading your blog so much.
