This is the first and probably only time you'll ever see something for Halloween appear on my blog so make the most of it.
A very dear friend of mine is very much into Halloween and last year I came across this little guy and knew I had to make it for her and although it would be late for the time of year it was to be her Christmas present. Life happened for both of us and until this evening the opportunity to hand him over hadn't appeared.
I think the general idea is that you use them as phone charms but as she is a reader I thought that a bookmark was a much better choice
I've got the Snowman (what a surprise, lol) waiting in the wings for me and I'm planning on attaching him to a bookmark as well

Oh he is darling! Your friend will cherish him!
I love it! A bookmark is a perfect idea.
I have something I'd like to ask you. I bought a bunch of Mill Hill bead kits from my local LNS when they were having this massive clear out sale. I didn't realize that they were the kits that the owner had used to make the models for the shop so they are just the patterns with none of the supplies. I have my hands full with stitching as it is and I don't know that I will ever get around to doing anything with them. They didn't cost me much and if you were interested in having them I'd happily mail them to you. They are mostly holiday themed things with Christmas and Halloween and fall things... and a really cute cardinal. Let me know, my email is alicepenfield@gmail.com
