Today I ........

Started out with this

Which turned into

And then I did this to it

I took another tassel class today at my local bead shop.
I know I've done one before and made a few but those were small tassels, this time we used a 100g hank and there was no wrapping involved other than for the neck.
I back there in just under a month for a finishing class on it so will have to get stuck in and get it done ready for then. Andddddd if I'm really, really good I'll get the one I bought made up off the tutor ready to go as well (this is supposed to be easier to make but not in my case so I've decided that if I ever get struck with the urge to do more I'll get the tutor to make them up for me!)

That looks really good - I would love to be able to make tassels etc - the beading picks up the colours beautifully. Is there a book you know of that uses this technique?

That is absolutely beautiful! Great job making the tassel, and I just LOVE the colors...love the bead choices you made to go with the thread.

Love your tassel. Sadly small boys and tassels don't mix so there are none in my house ... at the moment.
