Rosie

Today I thought I's share some of my favourite pics of Rosie.

I love this one of her and it's so typical of her.
I was trying to take her pic when she decided to check the camera out and I clicked just to see what I'd get, this was the result

On her regular winter sleeping spot

Such a lovely face but I'm biased :)

As a kitten she slept like this all the time these days tummy is a rare treat off her and mostly happens when I've been out all day

Weekend progress

I worked on adding some of the greenery over the weekend

The plan for this weekend coming is to back stitch the top right petal and if I can finish the greenery around it I'll back stitch the left one as well

Victorian Fan progress

I'm pleased with how this is progressing all the diamond eyelets are now finished in the fan which I'm happy about, it's not that I hate stitching them it's just they are so time consuming but they are worth it.

I'm not sure what part will be working on this Friday but I will be finishing the spines of the fan first after that I'll see which bit talks to me

Funky Street progress

This week Funky Street came out to play and I'm almost at the halfway point now :)
It's much brighter IRL than the pic shows and I'm loving every stitch of it

I'm hoping to have it finished by the end of the year so you'll be seeing it again soon

Late TUSAL

Yes folks it's that time again where perfectly sane woman across the globe post pictures of their rubbish from this create hobby of ours  AKA the Totally Useless Stitch A Long (link takes you to the sign up/ info page)

First is my stitching orts jar since last time I've added one from Daffodils, Needleworker, Victorian Fan, My Ark, Owl, CdC, Alchemical Romance, Funky Street, a bit of sewing thread from hexies and Lucy added a few from her projects while she was visiting.

And my beading orts, all the white on the top is from Tea for Two the bit of red that's just about showing is from my new start Santa and his Sleigh

Victorian fan progress

Well NaBloPoMo didn't get off to good start for me :(  I wrote my post well before midnight and pressed publish and it didn't :(   I went back to the page well after midnight just before I went to bed and there it was still waiting so today you get two posts at opposite ends of the day.

Last weeks progress on Victorian fan that I'm SALing on with Pat.
The week before was the wedding and I never touched it or a needle of any sort :(

I think once I get on the border it'll go much quicker

October progress & November goals

For October I said
Get the RR stitched   Done
Get the birth sampler half done    No :(
A finish would be nice   I finished Needleworker
Get a few symbols done on Alchemical Romance   Done
Get caught  up on hexie flowers  I'm getting there
Sell some stash   Several items have found new homes

For November I'd like to
Get the next RR stitched when it arrives
Finish something
Get the silk ordered for Alchemical
Work on hexie flowers
Make a dent in the beaded Christmas gifts/ornaments
Sell some stash
Post every day for NaBloPoMo
