A few days ago I was catching up on some of the older things on the sky box and Rosie was glued to Cat Watch 2014, makes a change to Columbo which is a favourite of hers 

Weekend progress

I'm really happy with the amount I got done over the weekend on Art Deco Sunrise, I'm thinking it'll be done by the end of July

Because Rosie appeared a few days ago and Baby hasn't had her pic on here for the biggest part of a long time here's one of her asleep this afternoon.

That looks really uncomfortable but it's can't be cause she stayed like that for at least an hour

Rosie's new favourite place to lie is in the top of the radiator.

She started last week when I had a few bits of washing drying there so I put an old towel that was destined for the rag bag there for her to lie on

I bought myself a shopping trolley this week to make life a little easier and of course as soon as I got home with it Rosie had to get right in and inspect it.

I of course in turn had to grab my camera and take a photo of her doing her inspection

She's taken over a box that was emptied over the weekend, I haven't had the heart to take it off her yet

Recently she's taken to watching the TV!

She rarely watch's the wildlife but just to prove me wrong here she is watching the private life of plants on Sunday which happened to have bugs in it.

She does like a good murder mystery like Midsommer Murders but she seems esp. fond of Columbo!

And lastly while going through my camera to see what's still on it I found another one of her when she had a duvet day earlier this year

Rosie turns 3 today and I thought I'd share a video of her with you.

Fella smokes and one brand in particular makes her act like she's had a dose of catnip!

I've never added a video before so fingers crossed it's worked

I'm slowly getting caught up on things I would of posted had I had internet, only a few to go :)

Teejay came to stay over Christmas :)

This was Christmas morning, his mum was stood behind me clicking her fingers to get him to look at the camera which is why he looks a little puzzled

Remember these? They started to hatch last May and the first one that did is now fully grown and doing well however the second one to hatch is still very small (would be classed as he runt) and was nicknamed Baby.

When Mel moved out and all her lizards went with her I said I'd take Baby once I'd saved up for the viv etc.

Christmas Eve arrived and so did Mel, Dan and her Dad with a viv for me.

Baby was a present off Mel and the Viv was off her Dad!

Still too small to sex so for now the name of Baby stays

The Good, the bad and progress

Let's get the bad out of the way first.

On Monday while towing my Parents caravan back from Burford a gust of wind made it snake and despite doing exactly what I should of done I hit the barrier and ended up with the caravan on the hard shoulder and us across the first 2 lanes of the M6 at 90 degrees to it.

I am so grateful that the wagon driver behind me saw it coming and slowed down which in turned stopped the traffic in both lanes as another wagon driver slowed down in the centre lane or I'm sure I wouldn't be here now writing this.

The front right corner down towards the back were it was dragged along the barrier

and the rear right corner that took the first impact.

As well as the damage I've shared, cupboard door were broken off , contents spread everywhere, both the cooker and fridge have moved sideways and up, seats at the rear have moved and since fallen apart completely and I even managed to break several unbreakable plates and cups but 2 pint glasses survived unscathed!

We are fairly certain it's going to be a write off but won't find out until an assessor has been out to have a look

On to the good.

The first of Mel's leopard gecko eggs hatched this morning, 2 more to go for now at least.

And lastly the progress.

Over the weekend I finished the green and pink motif, did the 2 pink ones and the brown one and made a start on another

A couple of days ago when I was taking the pic of Quaker 6 Rosie decided to roll around on the sofa so having camera in hand I took a few pics.

Doughnuts

Not the edible kind so really good for the waist line :)

Last week at the beading group I belong to one of the girls was showing a few others how to make beaded doughnuts but not knowing it was going to happen I wasn't prepared for it :( 

I took notes and then came home and made one, then another, then got a little obsessed with making them!

Some didn't work out at all so I now know that certain sizes/shapes of bead don't work and but I have found a way to use up those odd small amounts of beads.

The 3 across the bottom are made with cubes (outside ones), the centre one is crystals and they all use seed beads.

Of course Rosie had to come and have a look at what I was doing so I took the chance to get a pic

Ornament finish

This month I decided to got with a PHD for my ornament.

This is Christmas Kitty Moon from Stitchy Kitty  and I'm almost certain that I started it years ago when I took part in an ornament RR but for some reason I didn't finish it in the time allowed and set it aside.  It's also one of the 3 projects that I found last year when sorting out and the first of my flippin crazy challenge finishes for the year.

Rosie turned one yesterday so I thought I'd share a couple of pics of her that I took this afternoon in a rare moment of quiet

We have a couple of new reptiles come to live with us today, Leopard Lizards.

They are almost fully grown so won't really get any bigger than they are now and because we have one of each flavour there could well be babies in the future!

I've not shared pics of Rosie since the day she came to live with us so here are a few things she's been up to the last few weeks

Played with Millie's ears

Played with the monkey that Mel brought home from her holiday for Caleb and has now claimed as her's

Made a habit of showing the world her tummy (yes she really sleep's like that)

And just this evening she tried to help Mel play Spyro

Blu asked yesterday if the snowman is 3D and yes he is, once both sides are done I'll stitch them together fill with lead shot (cause I can't find steel shot locally) and a little stuffing
